The journal club at the Centre for Research in String Theory (CRST) at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) meets weekly during term time. It provides an opportunity for research students to present informal seminars and discuss recent papers. We welcome PhD students from across London. All meetings take place in seminar room 610 in the G. O. Jones Building on the QMUL Mile End campus.
Directions
From central London, take the Central line to Mile End station. Turn left out of the station and walk 5 minutes west on Mile End Road. Enter Queen Mary in front of the Queens' Building. The G. O. Jones building is the first on your right. Take the lift to the CRST research group on floor 6.
Calendar
The journal club meets weekly at Tuesday lunchtime during term and occasionally at other times. We maintain a Google Calendar of past and future events. Once a term we join with PhD students elsewhere in the London Triangle for an afternoon of junior seminars.
