Moduli Stabilization in Type IIB SUGRA

In this JC I will talk about moduli stabilization in type IIB SUGRA.

I'll motivate and discuss the seminal work of Giddings, Kachru and Polchinski (GKP,2001) http://arxiv.org/abs/hep-th/0105097  which is pretty famous and has over 1500 citations! In this work the team stabilize the complex structure moduli and axiodilaton.

If there's time I'd like to also like to talk about KKLT http://arxiv.org/abs/hep-th/0301240 where stabilization of the Kahler moduli is also discussed, and KKLMMT http://arxiv.org/abs/hep-th/0308055 where they try to get inflation to happen as well. However, if we run out of time these might be left to the interested reader!
