On 4th February 2014, Edward Hughes gave a talk entitled "Twistors". He reviewed the classic definitions and motivations for twistor variables and explained the twistor correspondence with Minkowski space. The twistor transform was introduced, leading naturally to a discussion of twistor string theory.
